UKPC started brightly in the first half inspired by Captain Zak Khan’s passionate team talk and there were plenty of chances for the team. After an early spell of possession football UKPC took what they thought, was an early lead through Ben Blackmore, in controversial circumstances. There were arguments from Cala Homes that he was inside the ‘D’ however, others disagreed.  Unfortunately, the goal was disallowed, and we could have done with VAR down at Bourne End.

Cala Homes then took over and caught UKPC on the break taking a 1-0 lead into half time with a well worked finish past Sam Cairns. UKPC regrouped and came out strong in the second half with great forward play by Dom Magnante, Sam Hunn and Mahad Nur, though it was not our day in front of goal.

Pouya Saki and Jason Parsons were fantastic at the back and kept Cala Homes at bay for much of the second half, until another counter attack put Cala through one on one and the game was killed off at 2-0. UKPC fought hard until the end yet it was too little too late and Cala homes brought home the victory.

Thank you to all those who took part from UKPC and Cala Homes and all the fans that came to watch.
